There is a vacancy at Hong kong for a Medical
salary £480 per annum for the first three years,
triennial then £540 rising by annual increments of £40 to £720, with a temporary allowance of 20% of salary, and a conveyance allorance of $270 a year.
For this appointment I submit Mr Norman Hubert
Smith, F.D., Ch.B.; aged 27, married; educated at Victoria
College, Jersey, and at Edinburgh University, where he took
his qualifications in 1916. He served in the R.A.M.C.,
from May 1916 to October 1919, during which period he saw
service in India, Palestine and Egypt as well as on the
Western Front. During this time he gained experience in
tropical diseases, venereal disease and radiology. He is
nor demobilised.

Gray of Edinburgh and Mr. Alfred Hind, F.R.C.S., of Jersey, who testify to his good character.
